- Darren Criss is the first Asian American winner of Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical.
- Cole Escola is the first nonbinary winner.
- Kara Young is the first Black actor to win back-to-back Tonys. (1/3)

I have no doubt Audra McDonald will receive a 7th+ Tony Award(s) because everything she does is magnificent and top tier. She elevates the art of acting, performance, voice/song. Her physicality in each role is outstanding. It will be exciting to see what role(s) she takes on/created next.
