Happy Deepavali! My 3yo came home from nursery brimming with excitement: "We light candles to help Sita and Rama get home. The bad guy has loads of heads."

It's like how kdrama romances often reveal a forgotten childhood encounter or secret past connection between the two lovers, this is because 缘分 is also super romantic

A common ending to kdrama romances is the lovers end up separated, maybe they'll get to see each other some day, maybe they get to meet once a year. My theory is that the stupid magpies have taught EAsian cultures to think eternal pining from a distance is super romantic
