Love this. In his “I Agree” installation Dima Yarovinsky-Yahel took the content from terms of service statements for companies like Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Tinder and printed them out on A4 paper with a standard font size for legal contracts to demonstrate the length of these agreements.

Between this and the wave of integration already happening in independent/private schools, no child and no educator is safe from the AI edtech grift. Gen Z and Gen Alpha are cooked.

Before You Return Feedback To Students What we did as a class together (key word: together!) before students received their individual essay feedback

Had a really good experience with this last week, so I wanted to detail each step of the lesson (spoiler: we spent nearly an hour doing "stuff" before students got their actual feedback!)

A student who missed a lot of school and was hospitalized came back to school. Doctors found out what was going on. He’s on the mend and able to travel with his class on the spring trip

Journalists: you cannot deport U.S. citizens out of their own country. Do not simply regurgitate the words of the administration if those words are inaccurate. To do so is spreading disinformation. Deportation, according to the govt itself, is for people with no legal right to be here.

This is what the so-called war on “woke” was always about it, convincing people that what happens to the marginalized can’t happen to them. It can, it will. First, challenge citizenship by birth. Then, unconstitutionally expel citizens from their own country. “Deport” is the incorrect word, btw.

Speaking up matters.

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

This is a big deal. Spread the word. But it’s tiny compared to the totality of what’s happening at NIH. Cure Research for all cancers, Alzheimer’s, everything is being gutted. Intentionally. It’s all getting burned to the ground but the news isn’t getting out. The new cures won’t be there for you.

Protest changes the permission structure. It says fascists will not be allowed to proceed unencumbered. And if you didn't think there was anything to be done, a protest shows you many think otherwise.

- call your reps
- donate to orgs like the ACLU, Indivisible, etc
- be protest support (be the one people call if they're arrested, offer water/first aid, etc)
- write an op-ed for your local paper

...and so much more. We can all contribute!
