Right now times are tough for a lot of us.

But nothing changes unless your vote does.

Putting more Greens in the parliament means we keep Peter Dutton out and we have more leverage to push Labor to get outcomes on housing, climate and cost of living.

Labor & the Libs are still on a unity ticket about unlimited rent increases, new coal & gas approvals & letting the supermarkets price gouge.

The Greens are here to push for better. Get outcomes. Make the government fix the problems, not just tinker around the edges.

What this shows is pressure works. Everything's impossible until it's not.

These are good outcomes that will make a real difference to people and the climate.

But we're just getting started.

On the 2nd:

Labor’s Future Made In Australia legislation could have spent millions of tax dollars on coal and gas in Australia.
We’ve now got a guarantee it won’t spend a dollar on fossil fuels.

On the 1st:

Public & community homes are often older buildings that are unbearably hot. Tenants sweat through dangerous, brutal summers.

This money means 50,000 homes can get aircon, insulation, new appliances, solar panels & batteries (and ~$1800 a year off their power bills).

Any lawyers around? I need commercial tenancy advice for friends. They’ve run a cafe for 21 years and have been negotiating a new lease. It’s their small family business and only income. The owner put building for sale. Sold it. New owner gave them 2 week notice to leave! This can’t be legal!

Deals in every state - NSW and VIC governments are big offenders. Lots of reports. They sold off really good brick homes dotted around every suburb - as well as towers. Currently VIC Gov “big build” selling off 44 towers for redevelopment displacing thousands residents

Governments have been selling off public assets to private corporations for a song for 40 years since Hawke and Keating in Australia. They’re still doing it. Look at Vic gov selling public housing and public land to developers for a fraction of its worth

They do it for football stadiums and roads etc. Do you protest that?

The unreasonable aggregation of houses by the extremely wealthy is an issue. Under current system and crisis, 1 investment property is more acceptable than 20 - 400. That does matter. We don’t want a society of oligarchs. We want fairer wealth and opportunity distribution. An end to exploitation
