Next to WaveBoy of course they're probably my fav VCOs ;) Certainly fav analog ones. Versatile, small, great tracking. I'd recommend the built vs DIY version as it's a cramped build. The SSI2130 at its core is a monster. I also have an A-110-2 for when I want a discrete VCO (it's often my subosc)

Skiffy 442T with the new PSU mounted all nice. This is for my band-mate but is a good test for how well the PSU fits. Only issue is the caps had to get moved a little to clear the corner tabs. Otherwise I'm happy with it!

I want to make a version that uses transformers too but those will likely be $$. Has benefits (like ground isolation) though so I'm looking to see what the price might be for those.

Looking at the next project after our PSU and was looking at a I/O solution using balun line drivers/receivers. Here's my first pass.

2HP Eurorack I/O panel for the front. 4HP panel (for cases like ours that have rear slots) for the line-level I/O.

The Skiffy 656 is now available!

It is a 2-row (6U) 56-HP (112HP total) face-up case, like our Skiffy 642 though it has enough width for up to two rear mounted 4HP modules!

Preview of the new routing stuff in 0.63! Envelope and LFO can be used to automate the wave frames and the audio output. The other WB is running the realtime delay setup as a send via a mult and Veils.

Also I know a lot of folks have been waiting patiently for this, but the Skiffy 656 design is nearly complete! Of note, it can support up to 2 4HP rear modules instead of one!

Playing around with dual WaveBoys. 1st is my DirtySaws in detune with an AD envelope in retro mode. Output is split for a pure dry output mixed with the 2nd WB, which is in delay mode. No filter.

Sounds cool but I was also testing an alt recording setup and that didn't quite work out.

Yeah I was actually rather surprised. Not sure what happened there since it affected both the positive and negative rails. It's fixed now and so far so good! I got lucky on that one I suspect.

I also managed to finally measure the current draw for the WaveBoy so I can finally add to to the modular grid page (modulargrid.com/e/bitbybit-s...)

It's 39mA on +12V and 11mA on -12V for the curious.

Oof some days. So my old power bus failed open and was passing -/+ 15V to my modules (!). None seemed particularly bothered but that was bad. I've had my own active bus design for a while and, well, finally got a chance to test it for real!

Here it is!
