Actually those are gingerbread salt dough cut outs! Gingerbread and tree shapes. There are recipes for that all over.

Nah. You slice an orange into slices. If you cut them thin, cook them for less time. I had them in the oven at 200 for several hours. I confess I never really use timers so I’m afraid I couldn’t tell you specifically how long.
