I always feel like OW style is strongest when it’s sticking to its UDON capcom roots/inspo more than the WOW type of stuff

That’s the thing right in 30 years we will have a term for it anyways…So maybe we just need to wait but I am impatient ok?

And yes each of the gassy games has its own nuances of course but I think you’d have to be pretty naive to think they’re isn’t a deliberate artistic standardization for games meant to earn Fortnite levels of popularity and appeal

Every game is “stylized” even “realistic” games can have a certain look based on the engine or other factors, I hate this term

A lot of GAS games have so it maybe gassy? But that sounds pretty mean

I know it’s a bit sensitive to talk about art direction but I’m still frustrated we don’t have a word other than “it’s stylized” to talk about the kinda look the new horizon/highguard/apex/riot etc has. Or maybe there is one I’m unaware of because I’m out of touch.

I mean I’ve never worn suspenders so idk how effective they are I’d love to try
