But a LOT of it is the kid inside of me who desperately needed an adult to stand up to her abusers. Who waited for years for someone that never came.

For the rest of my life I will be loud AF for every time the people I needed were silent.

One thing I wish more people understood about me:

I am loud mouthed. I am not tactful or polite. Particularly in the face of injustice.

Some of that is the autism. Some of that is simply being a human capable of empathy.
