Hope your Sunday is going well? Another interesting day in Singapore this time visiting temples in Chinatown and Little India.

It just was so interesting we had a good look round the orchid house at Kew Gardens In London last year but the orchid garden here is on a completely different level. As gardeners we appreciated all the informative labels and signs.

We are staying in Marina Bay Sands so that's our view from the room. We will be spending Monday there before we fly out.

Singapore Botanic Gardens 🇸🇬 were just beautiful. What a way to spend the first day here. I took a lot of photos and did a lot of steps but it's a good way to help fight off jet lag.

I run a Fiat Panda for the gardening business you can get a shed load of tools & equipment in it! It costs £35 a year to tax. Our posh car is a Hyundai i10 can easily take 4 adults to London from Shropshire easy to park & again doesn't cost a bomb, just wish people were more content with less.

I agree Emma. You only have to look at the mad housebuilding schemes for absolutely enormous houses that will be lived in by two people but they have two huge cars on the drive. People in the UK have got sucked into the belief bigger is better. Myself I prefer not to be crippled with debts.

It's hardly surprising that the UK establishment is so enmeshed in all this.
It has actively promoted the money-driven US mantra for decades.
