Went to the Universal Standard sample sale today, and was like “it’s right next to a light rail stop! Easy peasy.”

Reader, the 1 line is currently closed between Cap Hill and SODO.

The morning has not been easy peasy, but I scored a real live prototype top so I am pleased with the trip.

I got power back yesterday afternoon! Safe, warm, and hosting some friends and their dog today while they wait for their own power to come back. Merrill is not amused by the presence of the dog.

Power has been out since 11 last night, with no estimate on when it might come back. Fortunately, it’s not that cold out, and I have emergency PTO for exactly this kind of thing. Catching up on my TBR pile while I wait to see if the power will be back today.

My physical therapy exercises have gotten to the point where they qualify as a workout all by themselves, but it’s a lot of stuff like “breathe in this weird way” and “stand on one foot”.
