Glad you got it sorted out... now to expose you to an added option for #TheFrameTV - you can actually get frames to make it look more like a pictures frame. I like the basic no-frame look myself, but you might like options.

Unfortunately, yes, its just dark grey.

I don't know what the "no mount" option is. I transfer mine from the USB to the unit and then display as I like them.

If you are referring to not having a mat background, I think you have to select the image, press up on the remote to get to the menu for mat colors and sizes, move left/right.
