I thought I got a call from one of my actual bar associations and quadruple checked my status and called back in an absolute panic. Turns out it was the voluntary one just telling me I’m not a member.

I do not think that voluntary bar associations should have similar names to mandatory bar associations.

The outrage machine is fueled by the common view that admission to a university is simply a formality for a higher paying job.
