Three people I know from where I live in Tasmania told me today of their cancelled US travel plans and we’re heading to Canada in a few weeks. I feel sad for the US going through so much anxiety.

I’m grateful to be an Australian where we have Medicare and insurance is useful but not essential. I can’t even imagine a life paying for or worrying about massive medical bills.
