There are rules about specific kinds of body checks that are or aren’t allowed. Roughly speaking, it’s allowed as long as there’s clear attempts to gain possession of the puck. They’ve actually found it both improves the game and reduces concussions by forcing players to skate with their heads up.

I hate AI so mucccchhhhhhh. It’s very trendy in my field and everyone wants to form working groups and committees to talk about it and I just want us to abandon it completely.
