I think everyone wants to meet claire because she has the cure in her DNA. Leon and Sherry inadvertently stumble on this through their work. Maybe in the end she gives everyone from Raccoon the cure & Claire becomes the one off protagonist for the Series to keep everyone going. OMG

I think this just implies that it’ll be more like Skyrim and less like starfield in terms of modernization. But hammerfell or wherever the next game is would be a classic regardless because it’s Tamriel. So this statement doesn’t really mean much as opposed to just quelling doubt on its direction.
