Deep in the bowels of the manor stands an altar of unspeakable origin, its initial purpose long lost to time and centuries of expunges by the church. Now, it lives anew, its candles reignited by unsavory hands, united in doubtful purposes. The sigil was traced again. The sacrifices were made.

Despite its ill-fated reputation, the Sourwood is frequently travelled by pilgrims and errant knights looking to meet the monks at the opposite end of the valley. The road traversing the mountains is treacherous and long. A single, poorly maintained bridge crosses over the glacial stream into the Sourwood.

The Old Town was always the mirror of the city prosperous development. Beyond the grins of the shop-keeps, under the shiny floorboard of the embassy, beneath the cobble streets stirred something ancient, primeval. Few did know that the district was built on the ruins of a much older settlement of unknown origin.

Someone's gonna get fired for this...Magic is a volatile thing, and although experienced practitioners usually have things well under control, small mishaps can still happen.

The air is heavy with the metallic smell of blood, stifled by the intoxicating scent of alchemical flowers and roots. You hear the crackling of arcane lightning in the distance. The dimly lit corridors seem to extend indefinitely in all directions, sprawling seemingly forever under the mountain.

Once a proud stronghold for the Watch, now a dilapidated pile of rubble crowning a sad hill amidst the swamp. The old lookout stood derelict for decades. Officially, it became unnecessary after the peace treaty.
