Deciding on a mount and moulding for my Shepard Fairey silkscreen print of Paul Weller based on Steve Rapport’s original photograph. Signed by them both and limited to 500. First time I’ve had it out of the tube today! Smells amazing, looks even better!

Cheeky eBay purchase just arrived all the way from Anaheim CA (I blame @richards7370.bsky.social for the #debutalbums0004 excitement).

Remarkably intact after 5,500 miles in feeble packaging.

Arrived today. Huge dish warp but so far so good sonically. I have a guy who can fix warps and even incorporating that it’s a great value way to get this in the collection! Thank you so much for alerting me to it!

I need to revisit this Aqualung album. I know I owned it at the time. I’ve really been enjoying going back to these 0004 debuts. So many great records and good times!

I had tix for Bees in London last yr and was too ill to get out of bed for it. So gutted.

As an Isle of Wighter, I was so happy when these guys put us on the map. First act to do since Level 42. And a long time before Wet Leg took it a step further!

Btw: The Bees guys produced and recorded Michael Kiwanuka’s debut at their IOW studio before he went off and honed his sound with Inflo.

This is a perfect 10. A true masterpiece. And I have that grey vinyl, it’s numbered on the back isn’t it?

Loved this one! Saw him at the time in a small club. I was living at the time in the states and all these uk acts, even pretty well known ones, were coming over and playing tiny clubs in Boston. I was in my element!

Yeah I went back to it this morning. It’s ok. They had no chance of living up to the hype. “Best band since Nirvana” 🤣

Who remembers the NME proclaiming The Vines to have saved rock n roll? I saw them at the Paradise rock club on Commonwealth Ave in Boston at the peak of the frenzy.

For anyone who likes Miles Davis’ early 90’s hip hop album. Some represses from Warner Argentina have made their way to Juno and a couple of other places. Grab while you can!
