Hats has been a friend of mine since its release. We were lucky enough to see them live on their 1st tour in 1990. We sat in the front row mesmerised by the beauty of their music & when Paul stepped down & shook our hand & thanked us for coming (not just us 😊)life felt so good🎶

Yes Andy, a large collection of his records were sold at two auctions at Omega Auctions in July 2025. There was some incredible records listed (2 Wild Swans 7" demos went for over £300)
It was out of my price range but I really wanted to own just one record of his, so was really pleased to get this.

I'm still undecided which cover to choose, I guess I should go with Paul's version 🎶 🎶 🎶 🦢

The guy who owns the shop bought 5 or 6 of this guys Peel Collection auction buys. The guy wanted to sell ones where Peel hadn't written comments on the sleeves.
He had this and Pixies - Trompe Le Monde left in his shop

Always worth the trip to Grooveyard Records and today heard the story of a guy who started buying vinyl eight months ago and has already accumulated over 3,000 LPs!

I find Morrissey a tedious and disappointing individual so it won't be one I am interested in Jayne, but I have to say it is a brave choice and hopefully he doesn't murder a classic Roxy track (he probably will 😬)

That's a real shame. They got better live as they gained confidence. The first time I saw them they supported OMD on the Dazzle Ships tour in '83. They had little stage presence if memory serves but made a wonderful noise 🎶 🎶
