Last night was really hard for me healthwise. I won't go into any details...But I didn't get much sleep. I still feel a bit crappy and probably will for the following days. Ugh...rest, hydration, and nourishing food when I'm able to eat, sounds like a great idea.

I've been going to the doctor's pretty much all month and I'm about done.

Life update from me. I'm still very ill. But I'm slowly getting better (yesterday was rough. I couldn't even keep water down, and I've not eaten for 3 days now.) But at least I'm not getting sick anymore, and I can keep fluids down. I do have a slight fever, though.

Sorry for being MIA for a bit. I've just been so ill. I was even at the urgent care today, but I got medicine. For now, I need more rest.

Dad, oddly enough...seems very interested in where we're going for my birthday dinner...Which is SO not like him. He asked me, "Do they have burritos?" Which he apparently loves (news to me, lol). I told him yes...soooooo I hope it's a good night tomorrow, lol. 😂

Tucker went after a buck this morning and hurt his leg. He's limping, but hopefully okay. We have a vet appointment tomorrow at 11 am.

Tomorrow's my birthday. I'll be 37. I plan on dragging my parents out to a Mexican restaurant. I want to try tacos de lengua and al pastor for the first time. Mom's okay with it, my dad might struggle, lol. I was like, "Dad, they have steak and hamburgers, you'll be fine!" 😂

I've been so busy all day helping mom with moving/cleaning, and packing up stuff for when the carpet guys come. That and I'm having some medical issues to deal with. I'm exhausted...BUT!

But I'm going to sleep for now.

OH! Before I forget. I also have an appointment with a neuro opthamologist on the 24th (2 days after my birthday...yay) BUT....I just want answers, and I hate having trouble seeing.

It's nearly 2 am here, and I'm going to try to get some sleep in case we lose power (I'm one of those almost 37-year-old weirdos who need white noise to sleep.)

I tried to work out today since I was feeling slightly better. I realized how much strength I've lost in a few days. Oh well, I'll build it back up soon. I've been trying to help my mom pack and try to move things out of the rooms that need to be re-carpeted in the coming weeks.

No storms or rain here yet. But MAN are the winds picking up.

We're supossed to have thunderstorms with high winds around 4 am. Sooooo.....we'll probably lose power (I hope not).

Both mom and I have been sick all day...Ugh. I've slept most of the day and could easily go back to sleep now. I managed to get some soup in me earlier, which was a good start. I needed the fluids. I feel achy and rundown.

They updated my ancestry, and I have DNA (most likely from my dad) from the Iberian Peninsula, which I thought was cool. I figured I would just have DNA from the UK, lol.

We have the carpet people coming over tomorrow for measurements. I spent yesterday visiting my aunt and uncle whom I don't get to see very often which was nice. I'm ubber sleepy right now.
