Since my dad was a deadbeat, my primary male influence was my grandpa. With how much I respect him, you'd think he'd be some wise mentor type figure, but the closet comparison I can make is Cid from FF7. A grumpy guy with a chainsmoking habit who worked on big machines in his hayday.

If it's the same euphoria I get when I eat Spaghetti, it's a status effect. You lose the will to fight and deal less damage, but you take less damage because nothing can truly hurt you during a Spaghetti induced coma.

I know "sibling coded" is used to shoot stuff down, but they really feel that way to me, especially with that A support at the end where he just says "yeah, Oswin and I are your family now."

And for as much of a jerk as he can be, Serra is one of the few people who can dish it right back to him regardless of her status, which he probably finds oddly refreshing compared to how aghast most noblemen are when they hear him speak.

I always kinda liked how Hector/Serra was a platonic support. Oswin, Matthew and Uther all keep information from Hector at various points, but Serra being... Serra, can't keep a secret so she isn't in on it. Because of that, in a way she's one of the few people he doesn't have to worry about.

Hollow Knight, The Sequel to Hollow Knight, and the first four parts of Undertale's sequel have released all before Pointless got an update. I'm not mad or impatient about it since the really good spritework is worth it, but I think this is a mixture of patience and insanity on my part.

I played the first Bubsy game back before I knew video games could be bad, so I unironically have a small bit of nostalgia for him. If I replayed it now it would tarnish this memory I hold dear to my heart.

Between Marx showing up as a boss in Ultimate and now being playable in Air Riders, I'm glad my boy is getting some respect.

I'm glad the era of people hating on Final Fantasy X to an unfair degree is over. It's genuinely got some of my favorite worldbuilding in any game, and is one of those stories that kickstarted my love of tragedy.

Also it has Anima, one of my favorite monster designs ever.
