Yeah I agree, I'm old enough to be able to see the bigger picture. There's a lot of questions over the recruitment as we've wasted the money that we are allowed to spend, money we won't recoup in sales.

Spot on. We were abysmal on Saturday, inept up front and defensively disorganised / chaotic. Missed Gordon in the front three, Osula has to start as first choice 9 as he can actually run
08.02.2026 18:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Saturday was embarrassing so everyone's blood is up. We look disorganised defensively and inept up top. I agree getting rid of a manager within a year of winning a trophy and getting to CL knockouts is madness but I get the frustration as I'm sick of watching us tbh
08.02.2026 18:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
Once we're out of the CL and FA cup and got midweek available to train properly there'll be a bounce
08.02.2026 18:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
Loads of our fans in the home end too
05.02.2026 22:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Also who was ever worried about playing against Wissa at Brentford? Watkins yes, Tony yes, Mbuemo yes, Wissa not so much
05.02.2026 12:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Wissa is the bigger worry for me. Haven't seen him strike a clean shot yet, dreadful left foot slice, always offside
05.02.2026 12:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
Yeah I agree, the lack of training time is killing us. EH does his best work on the training pitch The compressed PL season due tonthe WC with the extra midweek games on top of CL is a nightmare.
05.02.2026 11:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
He's not a 10 either, he was awful there when played with Wissa in the cup, ended up playing deeper than our holding midfielder. If he tweaks his game to run in behind a high line occasionally he'll create far more space for when he does want to receive to feet. It's basics.
05.02.2026 10:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
Come 2030 when we've won the PL perhaps we won't be bothered. Ahem.
04.02.2026 14:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Yeah I was thinking that watching the players and fans reactions from both teams last night. They all wanted it so badly
04.02.2026 14:06 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Yeah, but tbf he was excellent first half and a huge step up on Missa and Wilter . We just can't defend a lead. And of course we can't win without Bruno
01.02.2026 13:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
Why get rid? We'd bring in just about enough cash to buy a pint and a packet of peanuts
01.02.2026 11:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
We blew the budget on 5 players in the summer, shame they're not very good
01.02.2026 10:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Villa have done great but have been able to manouvre better as they've been able to sell loads more. They have a strong academy and also weren't starting from scratch like we were when Eddie came in.
01.02.2026 10:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
No forward deserved to start on that basis though, except Barnes, who's been better this year, though awful last when everyone wanted rid.
01.02.2026 10:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
If we can dominate at Liverpool for 35 mins and we can frustrate PSG for 80 we can definitely hold a lead at Anfield. It's just piss poor. Nothing to do with signings, all on Eddie who I love to bits. We've gone all Bournemouth under Eddie
31.01.2026 22:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
Why can't we defend a lead? 35 perfect minutes, got the goal we deserved then pitifu. So frustrating Eddie, feels like Bournemouth all over #nufc
31.01.2026 22:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Wissa and Wolte don't deserve to start as they've been abysmal. Rather Osula than Gordon up top, as Gordon has proved he is only effective on the left.
31.01.2026 19:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
I think it's a message to the strikers who've frankly been abysmal recently. I'd rather Osula got a go though as Gordon can't play 9. In Eddie we trust though
31.01.2026 19:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Tbf Wissa and Wolte have been abysmal the last few games. I'd have gone with Osula tbh as I agree about Gordon 100%
31.01.2026 19:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Anyone got a clue what this formation is? Was Eddie trying to match Liverpools recent 4 2 2 2, and they've actually reverted to their standard 4 2 3 1? I'm not wholly surprised Wissa and Wolte have been dropped as they've been awful, try Osula ? We know Gordon and Elanga arent 9s. #nufc anyone ?
31.01.2026 19:18 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
Yep same as Leeds and Villa away games, our lack of striker firepower is the letdown sadly. Hoping we can get a goal on the break and keep them out
30.01.2026 20:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Great to see Willock, Ramsey and Miley playing so well last night, and some positive signs from Elanga -they can definitely share the load over the next month. Willock so much happier on the left and great to see someone actually gamble in the box and attack the ball. #nufc
29.01.2026 16:57 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
He's tried it a few times this season , primarily to find a way to accommodate both Botman and Burn. Not won with it but probably more due to lack of a goal scoring striker - Villa away, Leeds away etc where we should have won and completely nullified the opposition
29.01.2026 16:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
He's so much more comfortable on the left. We need everyone in the squad to contribute massively through the fixture madness, hope him and Ramsey can have a positive influence. Just got to get our strikers scoring then we're in business
29.01.2026 15:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
Same. But never say never. We are due to pull one out the fire
28.01.2026 18:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
That's over four years starting with no saleable assets. To have won a trophy less than a year ago, be in domestic semis and challenging in CL and still in the mix for European places is pretty good, all the while handicapped by PSR. For people to talk about sacking EH is laughable
27.01.2026 14:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0
They've been able to rake in far more from player sales than us tbf , we're right on the edge PSR wise. Some Jan loan signings at least would be good though
27.01.2026 14:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
I would rather Wissa and Wolte were both off the pitch, both abysmal again. Play Osula, at least he runs and attacks crosses
