Clearly something has to change but I do back Eddie to suss it out. He did it last season when he changed the positions of Tonali and Bruno, and Hall made the left back slot his own. He needs to do it quickly though before the league becomes a complete write off this season.

Agreed. 👍 Not sure we need a fixed 11 though. There’s definitely room for rotation with the strength in depth of our squad this season.

Nail on head. Eddie needs to solve the conundrum of the way we play with NW in the team, and he needs to do it quickly. And if history tells us anything we can trust that he will do. Our full backs returning will be one key to unlocking that.

I agree - Elanga will be just fine. He’s at the best place with with best manager in terms of successfully transitioning into a new team. I often forget that Gordon’s first six months were not easy.

He looks so short of confidence at the minute. You could start to hear grumbles in the crowd when gave the ball away, though part of this was just general frustration felt at 1-1. EH is wisely taking him out of the firing line at the moment, but he’ll come good under wor Eddie.

Agree with this. He can play as a 6 or an 8. If we’re aiming for European football every season then we need variety and competition for places. EA would also help us in the transition to a more possession based team. I know we had little choice but I’m gutted we sold him.

We definitely need some back up/competition for both full back slots. Tripps will be a great coach, I think. I guess the club will make a decision on him at the end of the season.
