Gundam Base Chicago was super cool!

Home from Frosties and damn what a good weekend. Compared to where I was mentally last year, this year has started off so fucking good. I'm excited for the rest of the year, excited to play and compete more. Overall I'm just happy rn. One of the best times Ive had at a major in a long time

2-2 in Xrd, thats improvement baby. It stings a lil but for the first time in a long time improvement feels real and possible

Its really a damn shame, the story seems actually pretty neat! And at times it was visually stunning like I know IBO can be! It just wasn't allowed to fully stand on its own like it needs to. Maybe one day, when Sunrise is feeling extremely generous 🥲

This was saved by being a double feature with Wing: Endless Waltz. That was pretty slick on the big screen ngl

Its mostly what I assume was animated in the game, but somehow even less! ~75% is narrated over, every scene is cut short, and characters didnt really get to be characters. Its a plot summary and it doesn't really end! I assume it went EOS before it wrapped 🙃 It needs so much more to be cohesive.

The Gundam IBO Urdr Hunt movie is really not good and not really a movie. Saw that coming but man it sucks they couldn't adapt the entire story, it seemed neat.

The 10th anniversary short was cool tho, nice seeing the main cast again even for only a few minutes.

Its very funny, I watched Dune Part 2 today and watching him try and fail to contain The Walken as he is supposed to be this all powerful emperor was kinda hilarious. He did kill it though!
