And this is why I stress that we cannot let genAI take over library processes. Try having genAI figure out how to catalogue that book. Humans use reasoning, our knowledge of the field, patron needs, and yes, our own biases and priorities. Cataloguing tells you a lot about a system's values.

Happy Pride, we will not be forgotten! We brought intersex visibility to WORLD PRIDE. Being out & proud as intersex isn't always easy. We can face misunderstanding & stigma—even in LGBTQIA+ spaces. But we also find community. We find resilience. We represent the beauty & diversity of intersex lives.

REAL ID is a law that sets requirements for state-issued driver’s licenses & prohibits federal agencies from accepting driver’s licenses that do not comply with those requirements. If the law is fully enforced (which experts doubt will be possible right away), only people with REAL IDs will be able to board a domestic flight. Now, the federal government says it will start enforcing REAL ID beginning May 7, 2025.

Let’s Get Real about what Real ID means for those seeking abortion care. All abortion seekers - regardless of whether they have REAL ID or not - may experience long security wait times and delays as TSA scrambles to enforce REAL ID. Abortion funds coordinating travel for undocumented folks, and trans and gender nonconforming folks (TGNC) with expiring IDs or passports may need to be mindful of increased risk and consider alternative travel options. -the National Network of Abortion Funds
