What did you end up going with?

The beginning of a knit socks on dpns. The cuff is turquoise, and the ankle is grey with turquoise speckles. It sits next to the yarn label from Sea Turtle Fiber Arts and the two balls of yarn.

#WIPWednesday is my first pair of contrast socks!

Yarn is Sea Turtle Fiber Arts in Wandering Brook, and the socks are for Brooke (me) to wander in. 😁

It's going to be so pretty! And warm - only my second pair of DK socks.

Those might be black vultures. Turkey vultures have bright red heads, though they could be youngsters. Either way, an excellent sighting!

I bought her book, and the general directions and tips for mosaic crochet are VERY helpful. I've only done a couple of the patterns, and nothing close to a blanket, but I would recommend starting with the book. 🙂

I had it this morning, though I admit I don't drink many black teas. No bergamot detected and sweeter but closer to English breakfast (according to my partner). It smells deliciously of butterscotch!

A black bag of looseleaf tea, flavour "Shhhh I'm Counting" is nestled between a project bag with balls of yarn printed on the fabric, a skein of sock yarn, a completed sock, and the cuff of the next sock on dpns. The yarn for all is self-striping in blue/green/yellow/pink/grey/purple.

Two of my favourite local shops did a collab, and it is delicious! Thanks, @flyingsquirrelyarn.bsky.social, for letting us snag some last night.

I also finished a sock and started the second!

If you think art of conversation instead of symphony, knitting is absolutely an art. Even that purely functional hat in a solid colour took skill and has art to it.
