late reply but I'm using Sendgrid for my little guy clients. there is a free tier and they're reliable. Mailgun doesn't have a free tier but the cheapest level wasn't so bad, around $30/mo. Never tried to use support on either but if you need support cheap might be better than free.... (also hi! 💖)

ty! since the first set of likes pre-update were cleanly unliked without becoming ghostly, i wondered if Cyd's new fast 'send command' style of unliking might have made them ghosts

likes deleted the old way before the update are gone tho (i started with 7.6k likes, 4.4k were left at update time)
