Something I've been trying to figure out forever is that if I accidentally nap through the entire day, I experience almost unlimited productivity until I go to sleep. Sleeping longer doesn't recreate it, nor does napping at night. It only works if I wake up at like 8 PM after napping all day.

I think that's what they're doing with saying they plan to buy an AI company. It basically defers the busywork to someone else without them having to make any immediate actions

It's wild that Apple was the only major big tech company to not drink the AI kool aid, and now they're being forced to because every dipshit analyst is like "well the earnings are really good but we're concerned about the lack of AI". How are these people real 😭

Quite a lot of dogs are lactose intolerant. My friends dog is, I made the mistake of giving him half a cheese stick while dogsitting and spent the rest of the day roleplaying WW1 trench warfare

So sorry to hear about your dogs. And reading up on this condition, it sounds exactly like the symptoms my dog has been exhibiting since before I got her. I'll get her checked out just in case.

My friend has a Pomeranian where when you stop petting him he'll gently pick your hand up with his paw and put it back on top of his head, it's the most adorable thing ever

What still confuses me is huskies generally don’t like to be touched. But mine comes over to me and does this gesture where she pets herself. When I pet her she looks like she’s just been traumatized by war, but then when I take my hand away she keeps doing the gesture until I pet her more 🤷‍♂️

Yeah there can be some choking risk if the strings are too long and thin, or if you give them the whole stick. But after seeing her swallow entire birds whole, my risk tolerance has shifted a bit.

String cheese

It's not bad for them. It's a little high in fat, but much lower sodium than most cheeses. It's definitely not a meal, but fine to give them occasionally as a high value treat.

On her first day she figured out my front door has an auto unlock where if you pull the handle you can unlock and open the door 💀

She doesn’t do the classic husky scream unless she’s being bathed, but she does the talking sound they make and also the wolf huffs instead of barks

My dog seem to be able to process it fine, but she did grow up eating literal garbage so she’s probably immune to everything at this point

I eventually managed to teach her to do some tricks. Paw was the hardest because she hated having her paws touched, so I had to train someone else’s dog to do it, then use that dog to demonstrate to my dog 😆

I have found this to be very accurate. They love to eat couches, doors, walls, dog collar, their own fur, but non of them apparently contain the recommended nutrients.

My first day with the dog, I kid you not, was googling "what do huskies eat?"

My friend rescued her about a year ago and asked if I'd look after he while she went out of town for a few week. I know nothing about dogs and have never wanted one, but agreed as a favor. I later realize she had no intention of taking the dog back and it was basically a ploy to get me to keep it 💀
