Interesting - to put it in the context of the rest of the thread, what's their motivation? Would it be worse to know they just stumbled on this level of influence and decided to run with it, or if it was always their aim to have power and no accountability, or some other explanation?

1. Poorer communities tend to be more vulnerable to climate shocks
2. The shift to net zero is expected to create more jobs than it destroys
3. Turning back on clean energy likely won't lower energy bills
