it’s the pillow case ON THE PILLOW on my bed. wow i cannot believe this moment has areived. it actually fits the pillow, and it is harder to tell what shite the work is when it’s wrapped around a 3d object like this.

this is me, hana, giving a thumbs up in front of my cool new pillow! i have my headphones on and a daisy-shaped acne patch covering a ~blemish~ on my left cheek. also my shirt has crunchyroll hime and ado on it which is irrelevant to anything. :3

Age of Empires being shown in the V&A Future Gardens exhibition Dundee - World Building Zheng Guogu In 2005, artist Zheng Guogu (born 1970) began constructing Liao Garden, a 20,000 square metre garden studio in Yangjiang, China. He was inspired by the videogame Age of Empires, in which players build entire worlds. The garden features canals, mountains, trees and houses, some of which are real-world replicas of structures found in the game. Age of Empires In Real Life documentary (2020)

I recently went to the V&A Dundee to see the Future Gardens exhibition. They had this inspiring documentary about how in 2005, artist Zheng Guogu began constructing Liao Garden, a 20,000 square metre garden studio in Yangjiang, based on the classic RTS Age of Empires. The garden is astoundingly cool

it’s my half-funished quilt! kinda looks like ass but i’m happy to see it coming together after sitting in my closet/“to-do” pile for a while.

adhesive spray is dumb and smells really bad and i shan’t be using it again. but hey i got the walking foot installed and kinda sorta stitched in da ditches. i’m QUILTING!! HERE!!!

an assembled quilt with safety pins holding it together every 5-ish inches

close up on one of the safety pins in the quilt. it’s like. one of those ones that has a big circle at the bottom instead of a normal safety pin loop

who needs quilting pins when you can use … uh…… the safety pins from clothing tags you’ve been hoarding for 10 years

the full piece is assembled. but it is merely a quilt husk, until i attach batting and stitch some kind of nice pattern onto it.

it’s coming together… now i actually have to *quilt* it… ahhhh

i had a dream i saw a teen’s homestuck fan art on a church bulletin board while attending a wedding. i thought the stranger next to me was excited about seeing it so i turned to him, pointed at it, and said “homestuck”. i was mistaken,,.,

mmmm a pile of freshly pressed fabric squares. yellow corduroy, brown & black tie-dyed cotton, and beige & black striped jersey.

i am pinning the fabric squares together. you can see my pincushion and the wrong sides of two black & brown tie-dyed cotton squares.

my pinned quilt pieces laid out next to the miniature paper mockup i’d made of them prior to starting.

the squares from the first picture sewn together in a 3x3 grid! it’s not very well done but it’s the first time i have sewed anything with a machine in like 15 years.

i’m quiltin’ here!!!
