โ€ฆ If approached, know that he is unarmed (at least in wits) but may try to grab you, molest you, fake an injury from you, or even deport you because he forgets his lack of power. 2/2

No. Her dress caused nothing. Dakota caused nothing. Any awkwardness was because most men just canโ€™t see women as anything other than sexual.

What?! Google the Newfoundland Regiment, July 1, 1917 if you wanna see a country giving its all! We had to give up our nationhood following those losses! As for WW 2, batting a couple balls at the bottom of the 9th doesnโ€™t = winning the game. The fucking least America could do.๐Ÿ˜ก

There are way too many factors and people at play.

It might be time to dig out your old Law & Democracy textbook, or just do a bit of plain old-fashioned simple research from a non-biased source. Itโ€™s all there in the government public records, the Hansard, legal texts. /14

02.04.2025 18:45 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

โ€ฆof checking on the facts, looking into what actually happens in Parliament, and seeing how issues are resolved there, to see that it was not Trudeau, or Harper, or Martin, or Chretiรจn, or Sir John A. MacDonald (!), who cost you your job or your home or your benefits. /13

02.04.2025 18:44 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

โ€ฆabsolutely no understanding of politics or our parliamentary system. If you are capable of saying that Trudeau โ€œcut my benefitsโ€ (spoiler alert : he canโ€™t! I just explained that!), then you should be capableโ€ฆ /12

This is known as Royal Assent, and is the final stage.

To blame a Prime Minister or their party for the actions of all MPs who are all involved in parliamentary decisions, the actions of the Senate, and the Governor General shows that you have โ€ฆ /11

02.04.2025 18:42 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Otherwise, nothing will come of it regardless of whether your party or candidate supported it.

Next, if the bill becomes law, it must be signed off on by the Governor General of Canada as the representative of our King, King Charles III, or formerly Queen Elizabeth II. /10

02.04.2025 18:40 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Letโ€™s assume that something you wanted โ€“ maybe a change to your social benefits like EI โ€“ wins the vote in Parliament. Next that bill goes to the Senate. The Senate must pass the bill that has been voted on for it to become law. /9

02.04.2025 18:39 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

So itโ€™s important for you to check and see who voted for what you want and who voted against it. This is the only real way to know who had your interests at heart. You canโ€™t feel your way through that. You can, however, learn it through the governmentโ€™s public records. /8

02.04.2025 18:37 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Each issue being addressed by a government must be voted on in Parliament through an introduced bill. The Prime Minister cannot make a unilateral decision and enforce it. All MPs (Members of Parliament) get a vote. /7

02.04.2025 18:37 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

You need to be certain that your issues have something to do with federal government, first of all.

Now letโ€™s assume that the issues you have are indeed at the federal government level. /3

02.04.2025 18:36 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

A lot of of the issues that you were complaining about, first of all, are actually not addressed at the federal level, but instead the provincial or municipal level. The election taking place on April 28 is a federal election. /2

People, you need to follow these promises to their logical conclusion BEFORE voting. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and if you fall for this particular โ€œfreeโ€ lunch promise, youโ€™re the one whoโ€™ll end up paying through the nose for it. 3/3

1. Service is decreased meaning delays, drops in service, failing vessels, & fewer runs. That costs YOU!

2. Government has to subsidize the service, meaning either more tax must be applied at time of service (a new fee!) or a new tax is imposed on taxpayers overall. Either way, this costs YOU! 2/
