I’m on Taylor Hate TikTok but I’ve watched so many vids playing parts of bad songs that the bad song parts are stuck in my brain on a loop help me

I’d like to think that when the kids are grown and maybe stressed, they dream of the concrete and metal building as a manifestation of their stress, but remember their parent holding their hand and guiding them to a safe place with friends and paint and fun.

Where I work now is a big glass, concrete and metal building with atriums. It’s hard, with edges.

It’s attached to a childcare centre and you see parents/caregivers who work here leading their kids through this space to childcare.

I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

Small brass butterfly.

Beautiful 1860s Victorian butterfly, which was used to store small packets of sewing needles on the underside of the wings. This was a collaboration between a London-based drapers company and a sewing needle manufacturer. On exhibit at Tatter Blue, a Brooklyn textile museum.
