Oh wow that's like. Disturbing lol

Yeah it had it's issues (one of the biggest being one of the first $90USD game, I detest that price tag on any game), but so does EVERY game and it deserved better treatment than it got.

(Also, for the record, a very common sentiment I've seen is "wtf, I heard it sucked but this is really fun!")

I've also seen tons of people totally ignore the exact same flaws in other games they praised instead making it clear they didn't have any objective issue with the game they just wanted to shit on it

Also, yes, a major amount of the hate was pushed by bigots, and a lot of the rest was just people hating on it because it was the "in" thing to do

And you can tell because some of them are using the same arguments even though they already got addressed in a patch

MORE than worth it, and I'm still furious that the out of proportion hate bandwagon ruined any chance of seeing more, the amount of potential that got obliterated by unfair bullshit hate is so sad.

It's something like a little under half of all the works I've posted to *both* accounts over 13 years prior to this

(Works that I'm the sole author of, I'm not trying to puzzle out how much I did or didn't contribute to works I was co-author on)

Apparently in the last 3 months alone, after a 3-ish year total drought, I've managed to write nearly 55k words. Which is only a few thousand less than the total words I've posted to my my main AO3 (and slightly less than on my alt), *across 13 fucking years*

Please understand that my handwriting is so atrocious that sometimes it does not even resemble a human lanague, so it was difficult to write the characters in a way that was not only legible but able to be carved as well.

I had a lof of fun with it, the design was simple to draw, but much harder to carve without damaging the outline, letters, or numbers.

Well, the only reason I was able to is that I am lucky enough to need 2 significantly different prescriptions (one for driving, one for anything close like using a computer) so while far from ideal I was able to use my distance glasses to at least see what I was doing...

The thing is, my eyes are so bad I would have had to lay on the ground to find the screw otherwise...
