I did manage to learn a fair bit of Godot's basics, at least! Hopefully I can come back to this rather soon.

I remember Unicorn Overlord did a good job with their information system purely with a controller on the game's encyclopedia, however I think I'd have to boot up the game to get a pic of it as I'm not finding any screenshots.
This is the absolute true programming and design nightmare and I'm very glad you managed it.

It took me 2 days just to get Bao walking back and forth. Hoping for a release by Halloween, but it's feeling unlikely.
