this isn't even their first strike, bc in the jayvik figurine Jayce is completely whitewashed. the ship dates being pushed back & some of the responses to the dozens and dozens of jayviks that emailed them made some people tentatively hopeful that they'd fix his skin tone, but this killed it. they

responded to people raising concerns about racism against a brown chacter with *even more racism* towards a character who's already been the focus of fandom misogynoir, and now nobody wants to support them. they've alienated both fanbases.
