I don’t understand the people who know my legal name is feminine and I have to tell them “my preferred name is Alix”, and then THEY STILL SHE/HER AND MA’AM ME? Like “oh this person goes by a different, gender neutral name and has an androgynous style…. that’s a woman if I’ve ever seen one”.

Please why is it that anytime I sing in front of my family they always say “I forgot you could actually sing”😭?

I answer phone calls for my job and there was this girl who called and was literally apologizing after every sentence. Like I was glad to help her out and she was so incredibly sweet but she just kept apologizing and I felt so bad for her.

If you have grown as a person, it doesn’t necessarily mean you were a horrible person before the growth. You made mistakes, but you also learned from those mistakes.
