Had the same thought -- winning a long throw is a simple height contest compared to a cross where timing/technique is much more important. BDB flicking a throw onto Big Nick has the potential to be very hard to defend.

Harsh on Hall IMO. Salah in form. BDB no better in past seasons (Nunez score 2 from that side, Salah scored 2, Pope sent off after ball through that channel, etc). That’s where Liverpool attack and they get the better of most.

#NUFC How about this? The 3 AMs rotate positions. One of Tonali/Bruno sits along with an inverted fullback. The other CM and FB join the attack. Against low-block teams you bring Wilson in for Willock or Big Joe and give Isak the freedom to roam. Or just trust Eddie, either works for me

Hate to blame the ref, but their goal comes from a corner that should not have been given, Yates has committed two offenses I’ve seen people sent off for, and Willock was fouled in the box.
