We beat them 2-0 at home under McClaren in Dec 2015. It's always a fixture we struggle in.

I’d like that too, but unless things improve upstairs, (Player trading, Stadium, Sponsorships). I see this cycle of great seasons without European football & struggling to juggle it once we’re back into the CL.

At least this way, we’re playing three times a week with a better chance of rotating.

Not massively, but if we’ve got any ambition, we need to get use to it.

I suppose the benefit of the Europa/Conference League allows for more squad rotation compared to the CL.

Yeah I agree someone should have been brought in, especially given Fabby’s injury in early January and that’s the clubs fault.

While we’re still playing three games a week, mistakes will be made with the same players getting consecutive minutes.

I get your point but surely playing 3 times per week needs to be something we need to get use to, if we want to progress.

I completely agree another CB should have been brought in this window and that’s on the club. It’s why I said it’s a shame we don’t have another CB to play.

Mistakes will happen when players are fatigued, but I’m not going to just ignore they’ve happened either.

He’s been at fault for all three today. He’s been great the majority of the season but he needs rested.

I quite like the idea of playing Barnes behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1.

Since we’ve moved back to Adidas, I’ve liked the majority of our shirts. I thought last seasons were great & I don’t mind this years home shirt. This year’s third kit is great, but the away is awful.

It’s just not for me. I agree the blue looks out of place, but to be fair I’m not a huge fan of the blue on our current home shirt either.

If it’s still 2–0 at 60 mins, I’d bring Ramsey on for Trippier and move Miley to RB. I’d also take Barnes or Gordon off for Elanga.

PSV will need to push as they need points and I can’t see them getting much against Bayern next week, so Elanga’s pace on the counter could work.

I agree. In an ideal world he’d have handled it better, but he shouldn’t have been playing 120 minutes. With another fit senior CB, he’d have come off earlier in the game.

For the second, he was poor. He half commits with his left foot and Brookes creates space too easily.

The back four picks itself with all the injuries.

I wish we had uncertainties, it may mean we had more to choose from. 😂
