Willock’s end products shocking once he’s drove forward. He’s half the player he was in the 22/23 season, but injuries can do that to a player.

I’d have been happy with Miley or Ramsey to be fair. I see us being over run in midfield with the three, but let’s see eh.

I’d have preferred Miley in ahead of Willock personally.

I can see it being a tough night for our midfield three against their five.

Don’t get why he didn’t either hook Burn or move him to centre back when we got let off with the first pen?

Everyone could see how isolated he was at LB.

Possibly, but we'll still need a good run to get close to the European places this season.

I think it will be harder to replicate that form this year with the number of games we're going to playing.

Hopefully the team continues to gel as we hope.

I just can't see us currently repeating what we've previously done. I'd love to be wrong, just my current thought.

I do think we'll find our rhythm and results will improve, but I can't see it being as drastic as it was last season.

I'd imagine eventually our back four will likely be Tino, Thiaw, Botman & Hall, which is great, but as of right now, it's not particularly experienced, which we'd certainly need at the back.

Due to that, I seen Sven moving to the bench and Burn playing.

100%, both will want game time to boost their potential World Cup chances.

I really like Botman. As you said he’s played well with Thiaw and they look to be our future CB pairing.

That said, currently I can see Howe starting Burn for the foreseeable.

He has played a back 3 before but it's so rare, so I can't see that being enough to keep both Burn & Botman happy.

Botman is great and I'd hope he's is our LCB for years to come but based on winning games right now and consistency, I don't see Burn getting dropped.

Potentially. The only thing is Eddie doesn't really change from a 433. He also doesn't really rotate his defenders, unless we have injuries etc.

I can't really see him making changes when when need to pick up points in the league and as we move further into the league cup & CL.

I’d imagine he’d want assurances of being a regular starter before signing a new deal. At 25 he's still uncapped by Holland, which I'd imagine is still a target for him, and it won’t happen from the bench.

All speculative, but Hall’s return could definitely have a bit of a knock on effect.

Right now, I can't see Eddie dropping Burn, so I'd imagine he would likely move Burn back to CB and drop SB.

Short term that would mean another CB partner for Malick Thiaw.

It could also raises questions about the future, with Botman having 12 months left on his contract from the summer.

It’ll be interesting to see how Eddie sets up once Hall’s fully fit and ready to start games.

We’ve been poor this season, but Botman and Burn have both done alright, so I can’t see him wanting to drop either.

We do need Hall back though, as he offers something in possession which Burn doesn’t.

I've been playing Joey in my away games & Anderson at home. Looking to move Willock on, but no decent bids yet.

I wouldn’t be against Schar coming in for Thiaw, but Eddie tends not to make changes to his back four.

Joey’s looked poor the last couple of games but he also traveled to the far east with delays etc so it’s expected. I just hope trusts his squad and rotates a bit more.
