I’m still reading Rhythm of War and just decided to start 3 other books. Why? My Libby holds came through and I panicked.

I wish I could say I got a lot of reading done today, but I sat down to take a break and watch “one” episode of Severance to see if I’d like it. I’m currently on Episode 8. This show is crazy!

What could have been is what I’ll be thinking about all day. If you need me, I’ll be in the Cosmere today.

Dawnshard was a really good, fast paced novella. I just love Lopen and found myself laughing so many times! I’m jumping right in to Rhythm of War next!

Finally finished Oathbringer and it was so good. No surprise! It took me a little longer to get through but only because of work, stress, life, etc. So excited to dive into Dawnshard! I love Lopen and can’t wait to read more about him!

It was a great reading year but I have a feeling that 2025 is going to be even better!

I finished Edgedancer. Even his novellas pack a punch at the end. I’m definitely jumping right into Oathbringer. I don’t know why I briefly thought I could read anything else but a Sanderson novel at this point.

I finished Words of Radiance last night and wow. That was so good. How does he do it?! Currently reading Edgedancer and trying to decide between taking a break and reading Blood Over Bright Haven or jumping right in to Oathbringer. 🤔

You definitely should! (Easy for me to say seeing as I’m a teacher on break for another week)

No updates but Christmas and Words of Radiance have completely taken over my life! About 630 pages through and I’m finishing this before the year ends!

Finished Way of Kings. Wow. I get it now. I get all the hype. Immediately jumping into Words of Radiance. Be back sometime…

Yes thank you! I think Brandon Sanderson just writes really compelling characters…it makes me want to know what’s going to happen even if there isn’t much happening at the time!

I’ve heard a few reviews saying The Way of Kings was slowish until the end. I’m so completely hooked on this story at 300ish pages that having to pause reading to go to work feels like torture. Only 8 more hours to go 🥴

Side note: I did manage to finish This is How You Lose the Time War. Absolutely beautiful writing and I loved the ending. 4 ⭐️

Absolutely no one in my life has understood the importance of me starting The Way of Kings. As a result, I’ve barely been able to read 100 pages! Today though, today is the day. I’m not leaving my house and I’m finally going to spend some time reading this like I should.

I have so many of those on my TBR! So impressed you can start that many and keep them all straight in your head. I would never be able to do that!

Oh good to know! Thank you! I’ve heard such positive things about James so I definitely want to read it but now I’m thinking I may need to check out the audio version as you mentioned. I usually like to read a few books plus an audiobook at one time!

Love both! Wheel of Time was my first serious fantasy series I read years ago. I definitely think I may need to do a reread in 2025!

It just tastes so bad…why do they have to put it in/on everything? Really ruins a great salsa…
