Now that I have a consistent potassium source I seem to be recovering from a lifelong deficiency. I did not expect to feel stronger . In fact, it seemed like potassium made me extra weak in the past.

What are trans rights if someone who is not putting any effort into transitioning has so little to fight for?

I think we should be very suspicious of non-transitioning trans people online, especially vocal ones who attack others for speaking about/promoting trans people using HRT. They are a subversive element that want trans people to be unsure what to fight for. They are likely fascists.

Like a highly subversive story, a position that is subversive removes credibility that the position is real. If the trait that defined something is cast away for a surprise twist, it becomes an outlier speaking for itself only.

I came up with a metric for why certain calls for diversity are actually attacks on diversity..

Subversive----Representation Scale.

If the topic begins to betray the main attributes represented, it becomes a mostly indefensible position. Its like people are too afraid of more representative labels

There are definitely lots of trash published books out there that have equal or lower standards to smut and they tend to be bargain or free books. A lot are likely non fiction, which should be the most educational type of book.

I really enjoyed Ready Player One, and it felt very non-indie in that it was screenplay bait, but it was the rare case of me enjoying that type of book.

Ironically, I planned to host a highly ambitious science fiction coming-of-age story and its theoretical sequels on Itch,io. I already have a low opinion of itch's games for all being rushed jam games too, but I still plan to put carefully crafted stuff on there if possible.

So now I will just make my own greeting cards for holidays and birthdays. Might not be able to get good paper for now, but I will do my best.

I feel selective on a lot of things. I can not rely on anyone to follow a concept faithfully these days. But it is easier to be selective on books as long as you get a preview in a library/shop. My problem with most books/stories is them trying to be a thriller, often subversively.

There are subversions that can lead to diversity, however, and subversions are totally fine on the right aspects and subjects because that is part of art's essence. The issue with subversive media now is subverting subversions until nothing is represented and all representation is impacted.

There are exceptions, but for a long time, the extremely stereotyped/archetypal storytelling in Japan has stifled social discourse in media as anime grew popular overseas. These stories are often pure patriarchy, with women only existing to praise and dote on the male protagonist.

A terrible isekai like Wiseman's Grandson shows that Japanese media has become anti-representation and anti-diversity intentionally, but inoffensively. It's a story where every thing immediately stops mattering. It has the slightest hint of real struggles only to erase that narrative.

It seems that the more society became accepting of diversity and human rights, the less funding media got and the more of a push there was to create subversive stories. You can see that older movies and books were about honesty and nuance (within a homogeneous culture).

Subversion creates a fog around any kind of discussion of concepts and representation. Diversity represents truths and realities that can be represented and subversion either hides them or removes confidence that people can discuss productively.

I believe there is a very important scale in social discourse that really highlights who is bad and good.

Subversion is essentially antagonistic to representation and diversity. A subversion is often just a pure distraction/diversion of something stories and art were meant to represent.
