Mine is: stop for the day in the middle of a paragraph, a sentence, even in the middle of a word. It feels SO wrong but it makes it 1000x easier to pick up the thread the next day.

And don't get me wrong, I do like the quirky guy casting fireball, but when I put those books down, I never think about them again. Compared to the magic of something like Earth Sea, which I think about way more often.

I don't really have a complete thought around this, but the slow shift of wizard from a wise person who largely offers advice to a quirky guy who casts fireball once a day somehow just seems lesser

Started Empire of the Vampire because it had no wait at my library and wow this book absolutely rips.

If you are looking for free options, I believe Wix still has a free tier and is similar to squarespace. Otherwise, github pages is free and quite flexible, but will have a learning curve for people not familiar with git or jekyll.
