I'm not actually dead, just working rather hard at the day job. To that end though, I'm taking myself off for a couple of days to get the fuck on with reading for the Bomber War series....it'll be a while yet, but I think I should have the first episode out at the end of next month

Doing some reading on Allied fire bombing efforts. The US dropped 27m incendiaries on Germany from mid 1943. The RAF dropped 50m 4lb and over 2.5m 30lb benzol and white phosphorus bombs in the same period. Insane.
