Agreed, but when education activities were financialised and costed post 1988 ERA the field of education management (now labelled leadership) collaborated, and the key message to the profession was that it was too costly for a person in a senior role to teach! This has to be challenged and changed.

Eugenics is still alive and well in UK government education policy for England!
