It was devastating seeing him go, but at least I’m glad we made his last remaining years the best for him.

After Spot ran away, Jake ended up taking over Spot’s role of laying on my chest when I’m in laying down.

He was originally an outdoor cat who ended up belonging to Clover’s uncle until he (the uncle) passed away, then being passed over to her grandfather until he, too, passed. Not long after, he became a welcome addition to our household in October of 2021 alongside Spot and Mina.

I am sad to announce that our oldest cat, Jake, crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. He lived a good long life, his exact age is uncertain but it’s at least over ten years.

I’ve gotta say, this thing is pretty nifty, versatile and a lot of fun to play with

I wanted to go to a beach or a lake, but it is much too cold outside, traffic is awful and I am much too settled in. So instead, I spent my morning experimenting with a new toy that I pre-ordered about a year ago (it finally arrived last week).
