I try not to judge a book by its cover... but in this case, the book lived up to its cover. That said, hopefully whoever designed and came up with it is getting lots of solid work based on this fabulousness.

Tonight, I watched the Star Trek TNG episode Lower Decks. I've watched it only once before, when it first aired, which happened to be the same day my mother passed.

Ever since I heard Avatar described as Pocohantas meets space colonizers, I can't ever watch it in any other context. Especially since Pocohantas' fate was so sad.

I get nervous when I hear about adaptations. There have been so many that have lacked appreciation of the original material and in the process, insulted the source, creator, and all audiences. I think a better goal for those projects should be to improve on the story and make an even better story.

The Heated Rivalry gay hockey players romance series is so sexy it makes ME blush (and I watch porn!) With that said, I have read all of Rachel Reid's Game Changer books (Heated Rivalry is #2) and I'll caution you not to expect a happily ever after (yet) in the season finale next week.

When I was in high school (back in the dinosaur age) I read HTGSC to my Speech class for an assignment. Many of my classmates said it was the best speech of the year. That said, I wonder how many of them still feel the same now?

This was so optimistic and joyful. I've shown it to friends several times and each time they have loved it too. Its one of those gems that doesn't get the attention it deserves.
