I honestly believe the most powerful Republicans and a cabal of tech oligarchs led by Thiel are just trying to keep Trump alive and viable through the end of the year so that they can “secure” the midterms and then install Vance. It’s not implausible at all.

This is why I can’t get too deeply into this show…by the time it comes back I won’t remember most of the key story and character beats.

I hate this era I’m living in. Thanks social media and the kids who unfortunately grew up as an early adopters of it.

The discourse on Threads from people who identify as Black and say they hated One Battle After Another because it portrays Black women badly and/or doesn’t portray Black men at all is making me crazy. I’m Black and loved it. It is mostly a satire of identity politics and the hypocrisy of revolution.

The NFL can afford to go to a 50-man game day roster, a 10-man practice squad and a greater percentage of guaranteed salary if they want an 18-game season so badly. Callous greed is why it pushes the latter at the expense of the former.
