Gnosiabros, I just discovered there is an ongoing anime adaptation and it's pretty good. You know who gets the fridge on day 1 so it's also 100% faithful to the source material, give it a watch if you haven't done it yet

I know I'm late to the party but Unicorn Overlord is really good, just the first area's overworld theme fully brings out the medieval me that would gallantly gallop on his trusty steed and die at 25 in some forgotten battle

Now that I am done with Hollow Knight again I can say that Silksong is superior in mostly everything except world design (where it felt they were ticking boxes sometimes while making levels), soundtrack (comparable to each other) and some gameplay stuff so at the end of the day just buy both ffs

Mmm, in NI they axed 90% of the character development that happened in AI in order not spoiler anything that happened in the first game, doing it again with two full casts would feel pretty bad so imo they should either acknowledge the previous plots or go with a completely new set of people 🤔

Y3 Kiwami confirmed to not have Revelations because ofc it's one of the silly things I enjoyed the most. My disappointment is immeasurable, day 231 buy, etc etc

I haven't played the third game yet but I think it's more of a spin-off that doubles down on him being a pervy dweeb so I don't see that changing any time soon, I'd like more competent Date too because Date and Aiba together are the best INVESTIGASHUN couple 👍

I gotta say, Ryuki's parts were absolute cinema especially thanks to THOSE moments but I didn't really enjoy Mizuki's parts as much. Felt that our mad lad Date was also handled in a really weird way but I can't say anything more because of massive spoilers. Still liked the game buuuut yeah 😅

It's all fun and games in Hollow Knight until you hit the White Palace and the subtle noise of over 9000 buzzsaws gets louder and louder...

Haha I thought about putting Widow on the list for a while but I enjoyed Cog Bros more in general. No Savage Beastfly is ever gonna appear on a top 5 enjoyable fights list, that's for sure.

I'm doing a full playthrough and I'm too busy appreciating the general atmosphere and how my nail with 1 upgrade oneshots the starting mobs. They really ramped up enemy health in SS to absurd degrees sometimes.

I'm pretty sure they will release a couple of DLCs with boss rush and well, even more impossible platforming stuff just like they did with HK. Then it's time to wait for HK:Shermasong (2035 tentative release date)

Done with Silksong at last, I'm both very satisfied and dead tired of it.
Some areas are clearly a middle finger to the player and plenty of basic bitch enemies have way too much health but still...it just compels you to keep going and going and I'd say that's the best quality a game can have.

Thumb is healed so I can finally finish Silksong and then move on to...probably Hollow Knight again because I don't remember that much. I also want to gauge exactly how evil the devs got with sequel tbh 🤔

The TGS trailer has basically Kiryu going Harvest Moon Orphanage edition and other stuff so the traditional RGG™ nonsense that goes both ways is alive and well 👍

So many good things about Y3 Kiwami, i'm definitely not sold on the redesign of my man Rikiya, his boss and Hamazaki but all the rest seems great. Ahhh whatever I already know I'll play it at some point, they better keep the photo Revelations in!

I agree but I gotta say I found plenty of sections that made me go "i'm glad it's over", way more than HK. Excellent game but once I am done I don't think I'll touch it ever again. Maybe I am just getting old haha

Blasted Steps runback to El Giudice del Fuego Furioso was certainly an experience, so far the only gauntlet that has made me rage was a cog lads one with disappearing platforms and other awful stuff. I'm only going to places in Act 2 though so there is probably far worse in the future hah

Same with their TV series, when the local rookie cop forgets to bring the beer it's always hard to tell if his colleagues are mildly inconvenienced or if knives are gonna start flying
