Today, I met the Chief Executive of the ICB and I raised the issue of access to NHS dentists in Broxtowe as a whole, and how NHS dentistry is commissioned here. I am hopeful that our discussions will bear fruit and will keep you up to date with any local developments.

High Street Rental Auctions are a new power granted to local authorities to require landlords to rent out persistently vacant commercial properties.

This will help end the blight of empty shopfronts and revitalise Eastwood high street.

☕ At the weekend I dropped into St Luke's Church in #Stapleford #Broxtowe for their coffee morning fundraiser for Myeloma UK.

Blood cancer is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in the UK, and Myeloma is one of the most common forms.

Thank you to the group for raising awareness and for inviting me.

Today I asked the Secretary of State for Education, @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social how she will ensure that new teacher recruitment will bring in those who can meet the education needs of dyslexic and neurodiverse children.

The stigma of a HIV diagnosis continues to be a threat to the health and mental wellbeing of people with a positive HIV status.

Today on #ZeroHIVStigmaDay I'm proud to support the campaign to end HIV stigma and create a more accepting and supportive world.

Meadows are critical to our environment and have been part of our natural heritage for centuries. I asked the Minister to protect them 🎥 ⬇️

It was lovely to catch up with Michelle Towler who came to Parliament for a tour today.

It was great to get an update on her work as an ambassador for Cancer Research and the vital work she is doing with Epilepsy Action to raise awareness and promote understand of epilepsy.

Many constituents who have been affected by changes to the Boots Pension Scheme have reached out to me. I am having active discussions with the Pensions Minister and I am closely monitoring this case. I'll continue to keep you updated on developments with this case.

It was really lovely to meet Ruth and Thomas who came to Parliament for a free guided tour today.
