This morning there was an assassination of a Democratic lawmaker not far from where we live.

An assassination.
Not a “shooting”.

The president has repeatedly called for violence against urban lawmakers.

The assassin open fired on police before fleeing.

I just got that today. Mad why anybody would choose simpler puzzles over something that makes the next day better. Also finally got the Boiler hooked up to Pumps and... that's a lot of boxes.
