I have a friend who's fond of the whole "eat the rich" line, but at some point that may be a line on someone's grocery list.

The Covid isn't bad for me, but the flu shot always brutally kicks my ass. To the point I will take a 4 day weekend and get both after work on a Thursday. The missus makes fun of my "man flu" and bring me soup and sandwiches.

But I haven't been sick in the last 6 years... 🤷‍♂️

And when I say bleeding money, I was onsite for almost 20 days, making obscene money as a contractor plebe. I think they were spending upwards of $125k/day for us. There were C-level execs hustling around with CDs and floppies and little round stickers to mark workstations done.

The most surreal moment in my IT career was sitting at a workstation in a Tyvek suit clearing viruses from a laptop looking up at a banner that read "THAAD Lab".

'03 or '04 - Honeywell campus in Clearwater. They were bleeding money. We restarted the clear 3 times because users kept reinfecting.

Sometimes I open a random YT video in an incognito window, so that I don't get a million "this is how aglets are made" or movie clip channel videos in my feed, and my first reaction is always "Wait - YouTube has ads???"

Don't know how people function without blockers.

Plenty of time for me to rewatch my Psych box set for the 5th time. Or Numb3rs. Or Buffy and Angel...

Who am I kidding. I'm going to spend my time watching people react to music I love, and rewatching "Nobody", "The Accountant" (1 and 2), and "Kpop Demon Hunters" endlessly...
