To be fair, this is also an indictment of the state of dental insurance in America more generally. But bottom line, that crown procedure is costing you many hundreds out of pocket.

A clear majority of grad workers (1300) signed the Fair Contract Now petition back in February demanding better wages, healthcare, and protections from harassment, discrimination and overwork than Northeastern put in its “final offer” in May. Now admin wants us to accept something even worse.

Northeastern refuses to guarantee 12-month appointments, even though its contract language only specifies health insurance FOR THOSE ON 12-MONTH-APPOINTMENTS. This leaves out many workers in CSSH (and physics) who do not have guaranteed summer funding.
